The Bakersfield Blaze evened the first round California League playoff series against the San Jose Giants at 1 game apiece with a resounding 7-1 win:
Bryan Reynolds CF- 2 for 4, HR.
Cory Taylor RHP- 5.1 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 4 K's.
Reynolds was the offense for SJ. Taylor pitched well in a 2 inning tuneup over the weekend, but got clobbered here. It's been a big ramp up in IP for Taylor this year.
Jake McCasland gets the callup from Augusta to start the rubber match today.
